He has a gentle soul, loves to smile and has a kind eye (one blue and one brown). With time and training he will make a great best friend for a lucky child.

Oliver was rescued from the Dawson Creek Auction in 2022. This auction routinely sells horses and ponies for meat export, so we are so grateful to have been able to give him a second chance.

He’s been exposed to all disciplines and would be perfect for someone wanting a cool little project! Not suitable at this time for a beginner child. Might work well in a full training program with supervision.

Sassy is an adorable 2019 small grey pony mare.

Sassy is a fun girl with a big personality and great hair! She is a fancy mover and is looking forward to strutting her stuff at shows in the future!

Beckham is a handsome 2019 (OTTB) Thoroughbred bay gelding.

Beckham is super friendly and joined us in Nov 2024

Companion or Project Horse Available – Beckham (2019-Thoroughbred Gelding)

Beckham is kind and full of personality, Thoroughbred gelding that retired sound off the track and is looking for his next chapter. He goes nicely under saddle but does have some quirks he has been assessed as sound by a veterinarian. However, imaging has identified low grade kissing spine, and while he’s currently comfortable, future performance would likely require surgery if someone is interested in pursuing him as a riding project.

He currently lives happily in a pasture with a buddy and would thrive in a similar environment. Beckham could be an excellent companion horse or a rewarding project for the right person willing to invest in his care.

These two curious and friendly yearlings arrived from Freedom’s Gate Equine Rescue in Salmon Arm after being picked up from an Alberta auction earlier this year. Hen-Le (Palomino) is expected to mature around 14-14.3hh, while Flora (Bay) is likely to grow to 15hh+. They’re already charming visitors with their sweet personalities.
