EC GOLD SHOW
We have revised our July show to a single-day event exclusively for grass hunter competitors. We will welcome many of the province's top hunters competing for great prizes on our beautiful grass field and provide the perfect warm-up for those competing in the grass hunter divisions at Milner the following week.
This evening event will include a Southlands social with music, food and drinks, and lots of great entertainment.

FRIDAY JULY 15 - TANIUM HUNT & HANDY
On Friday the Southlands Riding Club is offering a HCBC Sanctioned Sponsored Event with Schooling rounds on the Grass Friday morning. The field will close down at 1:00pm to build for a $1000.00 Hunt & Go Hunter Class kindly sponsored by Tanium.
CLASS 110 –TANIUM HUNTER HUNT & HANDY– 2’6” / 2’9”/3’0”/3’3”.
Horse and rider combinations to jump a Classic round consisting of 5-6 Fences. Directly after the completion of the Classic round, horses will pick up their pace and pass through a set of markers to begin the Handy portion of the class.The Handy round will consist of 4-5 fences, where pace, brilliance, and a shorter track are to be rewarded. Option fences may be used in either round, at the course designers discretion. Formal attire is requested, but not required. You must indicate what height you will jump on your entry form.
FRIDAY MORNING SCHOOLING – 8:30am to 1:00pm Sharp
The grass field will be open for schooling rounds at the cost of $30.00 a round with the maximum of two (2) rounds. The field will be set at one height with jump crew to help with height adjustments, if required.
